Desde la noción del viaje y la exploración con el cuerpo, Quintero conjura una serie de acervos plásticos como la escultura, el vídeo y la fotografía, con los cuales busca la creación de ficciones que van entretejidas con lo documental, lo histórico y lo autoetnográfico dentro del territorio de Boyacá o Colombia. 

Su oficio con las maderas le ha hecho preguntarse acerca del prematuro nacimiento de las tecnologías en lo agreste del campo, y es desde este oficio que entabla un diálogo con otras materias que están entre la brecha de la tecnificación o yacen inlacanzables en lo salvaje o inmensurable. 

Todas las materias que atraviesan la experiencia con su cuerpo son enteramente objetuales y relacionales, y es desde la práctica performática, situada en determinados lugares, que enlaza y activa los objetos que son parte de sus narrativas.  Quintero ha participado como artista formador, pedagogo y gestor cultural en distintos proyectos y actividades culturales y es también cofundador y director creativo del espacio “Por fuera de la línea”, dedicado al fortalecimiento de procesos de investigación-creación en artes plásticas en la ciudad de Bogotá. 

From the notion of journey and exploration with the body, Quintero conjures a series of visual resources such as sculpture, video, and photography, with which he seeks to create fictions interwoven with documentary, historical, and autoethnographic elements within the territory of Boyacá and Colombia.

His work with wood has led him to question the premature birth of technologies in the wilds of the countryside, and it is through this craft that he engages in a dialogue with other materials that are caught in the gap of technological advancement or lie unreachable in the wild or immeasurable.

All the materials that permeate his experience with his body are entirely object-based and relational, and it is through his performative practice, situated in specific locations, that he connects and activates the objects that are part of his narratives. Quintero has participated as a training artist, educator, and cultural manager in various cultural projects and activities. He is also the co-founder and creative director of the space "Por fuera de la línea," dedicated to strengthening research and creation processes in the visual arts in the city of Bogotá.
