“En mis trabajos no hay contenidos nuevos o viejos, en toda la pintura sucede lo mismo, pero el valor es que de algún punto siempre nace una nueva forma de abordarlos, después de siglos de pinturas, hay muchas que nadie hizo, es por eso que me apuro y trato de hacer algunas de esas pinturas que todavía faltan. 
El espectador que se para frente a una obra mía o de cualquier otro artista, tiene su vida, demasiado en la mira, como para sugerirle como debería leerla, es intercederlo innecesariamente… que disfrute de la contemplación. Yo creo y realizo. Estamos en distintos planos. 
Asumir que lo que hacemos son artes visuales, es básico y es bueno, considero que no hay peor obra que aquella que requiere del artista ahí parado como un decodificador, explicando procedimientos y cualidades embrolladas para poder leerlas, la mayoría de las obras del mundo, están destinadas a permanecer ahí solas, la mayor parte del tiempo. 
No estoy en contra de las evoluciones comunicativas de estos tiempos, pero los catálogos no son la obra, son tan solo un complemento.”

“In my works there is no new or old content, the same thing happens in all painting, but the value is that from some point a new way of approaching them is always born. After centuries of paintings, there are many that no one made, that's why I hurry and try to make some of those paintings that are still missing. The viewer who stands in front of a work of mine or any other artist, has his life too much in focus, so to suggest how he should read it is to intercede unnecessarily... let him enjoy contemplation. I create and I create. We are on different levels. Assuming that what we do is visual arts is basic and it is good. I consider that there is no worse work than that which requires the artist standing there like a decoder, explaining procedures and tangled qualities in order to be able to read them. Most of the works in the world are destined to remain there alone, most of the time. I am not against the communicative evolutions of these times, but catalogs are not the work, they are merely a complement.”
